The event IO DONO – IRPINIA PER LA VITA was born, starts and ends every year in Lioni (AV, Italy).

Since the first edition, citizens of Lioni have enthusiastically welcomed the amateur bike ride, actively participating in all aspects, both as cyclists and as volunteers. It is a celebration of the whole community, a solidarity event that involves everyone.
The event takes place in August, the period of greatest tourist flow. Usually those who reach Lioni for IO DONO also remain in the following days, to experience the many events in the mid-August period. In fact, from August 15th to 17th, Lioni is enriched with lot of artistic events, especially pop concerts, on the occasion of the San Rocco’s feast (the Patron Saint of Lioni). The festival ends with the traditional concert on August 17th that over the years has seen performing artists like Lucio Dalla, De Gregori, Venditti, Massimo Ranieri. This year (2022) will be the turn of Tiromancino.
